A delicious blend of traditional maamoul and cheesecake flavors with dates and walnuts.
Ingredients

- 200g digestive biscuits
- 100g unsalted butter, melted
- 400g cream cheese
- 200g sour cream
- 150g sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 200g dates, pitted and chopped
- 100g walnuts, chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Crush the digestive biscuits and mix with melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add sour cream, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon; mix well.
- Fold in dates and walnuts gently.
- Pour the mixture over the biscuit base.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until set.
- Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
- Use fresh dates for a better flavor.
- Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
- Can be topped with extra walnuts or date syrup.
