- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into thick steaks.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add water to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower steak into the batter, coating both sides.
- Place the coated steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the steaks.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and brush with buffalo sauce.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with celery sticks and ranch dressing.
- Adjust the spice level of buffalo sauce to your preference.
- These can be made vegan by using a plant-based flour.
