Description

- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 ounces whipped topping
- 6 ounces strawberry gelatin mix
- 2 cups boiling water
- 16 ounces frozen sliced strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
- Set the pan aside to cool completely.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
- Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread this filling over the cooled crust.
- Seal the edges to prevent leaks.
- Chill the pan for 30 minutes.
- Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water.
- Stir in the frozen strawberries.
- Let the mixture thicken slightly.
- Pour the strawberry topping over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use full fat cream cheese for better texture.
- Make sure the crust is cool before adding the filling.
- Spread the cream cheese to the very edges of the pan.
- Thaw the strawberries slightly for easier mixing.
