Delicious tarts filled with cinnamon and cardamom flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon cardamom
- 1 cup cream cheese
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and powdered sugar until crumbly.
- Add egg yolk and vanilla extract; mix to form a dough.
- Press the dough into tart pans.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then cool.
- In another bowl, blend cream cheese, sugar, egg, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cardamom.
- Pour the mixture into the cooled tart shells.
- Bake for another 20 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store tarts in the refrigerator.
- Can substitute nutmeg for cardamom if desired.
