- 5 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Peel and cube your potatoes.
- Put potatoes, garlic, and broth into your slow cooker.
- Cover the pot.
- Cook on high for 4 hours.
- Drain the liquid.
- Add butter, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
- Mash your potatoes until they are smooth.
Notes
- Use red potatoes to keep the skins.
- Set your cooker to warm for serving.
- Top with fresh chives.
