Description
A hearty dish with layers of beef, zucchini, and ricotta cheese.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
- 250g ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer zucchini slices, then half the beef mixture, and half the ricotta.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with zucchini on top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
