Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 package empanada dough disks
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
- Place a spoonful of filling on each dough disk.
- Fold the dough over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve with salsa or hot sauce.
- For extra flavor, add chopped olives or hard-boiled eggs to the filling.
