Description
Afghani Keema Naan is a flavorful stuffed bread with spiced minced meat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup minced meat (beef or lamb)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 egg, for egg wash
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
- Add warm water and oil, knead to form a dough.
- Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until golden.
- Add minced meat, spices, and cook until browned.
- Mix in yogurt and cilantro, remove from heat.
- Divide dough into small balls and roll out each ball.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center and fold the dough over.
- Roll out again gently to seal the filling.
- Heat a skillet and cook each naan until golden brown on both sides.
- Brush with egg wash before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spices as per your taste.
- Serve with yogurt or chutney.
- Can be made with chicken or vegetables for variation.
