Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup minced meat (beef or lamb)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 egg, for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and oil, knead to form a dough.
  3. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until golden.
  5. Add minced meat, spices, and cook until browned.
  6. Mix in yogurt and cilantro, remove from heat.
  7. Divide dough into small balls and roll out each ball.
  8. Place a spoonful of filling in the center and fold the dough over.
  9. Roll out again gently to seal the filling.
  10. Heat a skillet and cook each naan until golden brown on both sides.
  11. Brush with egg wash before serving.
